  • “Like” us on Facebook and share our updates
  • Recruit your neighbors: tell (at least) 5 friends or neighbors about the co-op
  • Be a co-op ambassador: take brochures and member forms to your next neighborhood group, church, school or nonprofit meeting

Events & Community Education –

  • Table at an upcoming community event
  • Administer our Food Access survey: help to distribute/collect a grassroots community survey to better understand the needs and wants of our community
  • Host a house party and give us an opportunity to tell your friends about the co-op
  • Get to know your local elected officials: help organize and attend meetings to seek support for the co-op
  • Join our Events & Education committee to help plan co-op events and seek out outreach opportunities

Marketing –

  • “Guerrilla Marketing” – Hit the streets and get the word out via fliers, posters, etc in support of the effort
  • Help us improve our website and add/update content
  • Join our Marketing committee to help develop materials, increase our social media presence and pitch our story to local papers

Membership & Fundraising

  • Manage our member database and logistics
  • Join this team and help plan and execute our member-owner campaign
  • Grant-writing — there are a limited number of grants that we can apply for, but they are very helpful to us!
  • We are developing materials to solicit funds from foundations and corporate sponsors

  • Join our Planning committee to help guide the co-op to opening day, *especially if you have experience with other co-ops

Other ways to give

  • Do you own or work for a local business? Host or sponsor an event for us!

This is a community-led effort, and one that can’t happen without you!
